Hello OMS Alumni, Family, and Friends:
On behalf of the OMS Alumni Committee, I would like to once again say Welcome. We hope to see you at our Alumni Mass on Sunday, April 10th, at 9:00AM . A light Breakfast will follow the Mass and we will be awarding our second annual Monsignor Daly Award to Mr. Jim Murray for embodying the spirit of Msgr. Daly through his generosity, spirituality, and love of OMS. We need individuals like Jim who have never forgotten the good work that continues today at OMS. We take such pride in presenting this Award because Monsignor Daly is the link that joins so many of us. In my opinion, Monsignor Daly is a Saint who walked amongst us.
Please join old classmates, family, and friends as we worship together as one family in recognition of our years spent at OMS. We were a family then, and remain so today.
The current students at our school are the same well educated, polite students as we remember from our days. Did we have a choice? We are all so fortunate to have received our OMS Grade School Education. They wear their OMS Uniforms with such pride. The kids love to hear that you were a student, oh so many years ago, and what classroom you were in and for which grade.
The Sisters of Saint Joseph continue their good work at our school.
Sister Owen Bonner and Rosemary Haenn, our Principal and Vice-Principal, are wonderful educators and are determined to give our students the best education and nurturing possible. They are the best of the best. Thank you Sister Owen and Rosemary! We take pride in your good work.
The 2011 Reunion will be the first of what we hope will be many Masses with Fr. Jeff. We look forward to sharing in your first Alumni Mass as our Pastor.
Three generations of my Family had such Pride in our school. I was lucky enough to be a "Fallon Streeter". I recently spoke to my next door neighbor from Fallon Street after many, many, many years. Also, a Cousin of mine who lived across from #907. You speak of three generations of your Family as if it were just yesterday. We had either five or six relatives living on our Street and just the best neighbors. As I got older I developed a Pride, Tradition, and Family for Our Mother Of Sorrows and Fallon Street. I remember so many who have gone before us....Rest In Peace.
I would like to give a special mention to my "1961" OMS Classmates..."Fifty Years"...How did that happen!! We all returned a few years back and are a dozen strong today. We took off with the same jokes and so many memories. On behalf, of Duff...Our May Queen, Paul, and myself, can't wait to see you all again!
To Honor, Pride, Tradition, and Family!!
All the Best,
Eileen Shannon..."A Fallon Streeter"

OUR MOTHER OF SORROWS REUNION
2010 RECAP
The OMS Alumni Association established The Monsignor Daly Award for Service. The Association wanted to honor the memory of Msgr. Daly by doing what he did each and every day – serve the people of God. Father Rayford Emmons was chosen by his peers as the first recipient of this award. Gerry Woods (OMS 1962), left, presented Fr. Emmons with the award at the alumni breakfast on April 18th.

Former OMS teachers, Sister Maureen Patricia Walsh, SSJ and Sister Marie Lewis, SSJ were warmly greeted by their students, Adriann Toombs Bautista (1982), Bill Dixon (1981) and Crystal Anderson-Lamb (1983) (L-R). Pilar, grade 4, a second generation student also enjoyed hearing stories of what she considers to be “back in the day”.

Alumni at the OMS reunion got to see both former classmates and neighbors! Above, former neighbors, Denny Costello, Kathleen Costello, Nancy Costello, Patricia Duffy, Catherine Duffy, Teresa Costello and Dolores Costello (L-R), reunited in Daly Hall.
